The BEST Pho. Always very clean, attractive decor, great food, consistent quality and wonderful owner. I would come more often if they were closer to me. I highly recommend for anyone or any family.
Consistently great food, very clean and reasonably priced. -

I had my first experience with Pho Kim Kim on 4/11/19.
I ordered a grilled beef Bahn mi, added shrimp for $4, two egg rolls and a drink. The meal was nicely packed and included a fish sauce, sriracha and a cup full of ice.
I started with the egg rolls. As soon as I opened the container I was pleasantly surprised that the egg rolls were piping hot, crispy and large. They were the star of the show. Plenty of filling, wonderful flavor and texture. The fish sauce was perfect with a nice spice and lots of carrot strips. I instantly regretted not ordering a full order. This 1 star is specifically for the egg rolls only. I will definitely order these again and that is the only reason I will ever go to this restaurant again.
The rest of the meal experience went downhill swiftly.
I know some other reviews commented that the banh mi was small but in my opinion, the bread was actually large. Not only that it tasted great with the perfect balance of crunch/softness. One of my main issues was the portion size of grilled beef. First off there were no char or grill marks on the beef and there were only a few pieces. I counted 6 thin pieces spread out on one side of bread. I paid $4 to add grilled shrimp to my sandwich which I have never done before on a Bahn mi but they offered the combination and I was curious. I received 5 large shrimp with slight grill marks on some. There was one slice of old cucumber, one sprig of cilantro, two strips of jalapeno and some carrot.
As I bit into the sandwich I had high expectations. First bite, not bad, glad I got extra aioli but couldn't taste the meat. Sandwich felt flat. The second bite, which included shrimp, something just didn't taste right... There was a flavor I couldn't quite identify but I proceeded. The third bite I was alarmed by some gritty taste that was very overwhelming. I spit it out, looked at it then opened my sandwich. I was disgusted by what I saw... A big, thick black smear of shrimp poop on the bread and still in the shrimp. I start inspecting all the other shrimp and NONE of them had been deveined. What the heck Pho Kim Kim??? I then attempted to use a plastic knife and devein the shrimp myself. I tried used a napkin to clean it off also but these were the dirtiest shrimp I have ever seen and I've eaten a ton of boiled shrimp. Finally, I gave up. It was too much work. Pho Kim Kim is not cheap and this should have been a part of their daily prep process. That lack of attention to detail, commitment to quality and overall disregard for seafood preparation was a total turn off. Y'all have to step it up and resolve this.
I will never order anything aside from egg rolls from this place. I'm really disappointed with my experience and I hope you stop skimping on meat and serving shrimp that has not been properly cleaned. -

Really enjoyed the vegetarian vermicelli (nice and light!) and the spring rolls are huge! I will definitely eat here again!

Let's face it. I am a pho-natic! It's one of my favorite things to eat, especially when it's cold outside. This Vietnamese resto is the sequel to the location that used to be on 290w & 1960 a few years back. The egg rolls are delicious. It's literally the best thing I've eaten at both the former location, and this one. They are so crispy and the flavor is really good. The pho is not my top 1 or 2 pick, but I still enjoy it. I'd go here again for sure.
